Pay attention to the thoughts you think, because thoughts are powerful.

Since this is the first step in any creative process and since your thoughts are powerful, the outcome of those thoughts will determine your final result. This means that what you think will in the end produce the result you thought about, whether it’s good or bad.

Think of Alexander Graham Bell who invented the telephone or the Wright Brothers who developed the first airplane. It all started with a thought, and as they continually gave attention to those thoughts, they received ideas which they acted upon even though they encountered many challenges.

Mike Dooley who is the author of the book Infinite Possibilities coined the famous phrase ” Thoughts Become Things.” So if thoughts are that powerful that they create things, imagine what they can do if we use them in the right way. We must understand that everything is created from the non physical quantum level before it shows up in the physical realm. Energy follows thought.

The other reason thoughts are powerful is because thoughts elicit emotions, and the emotions you feel will depend on the thoughts you are thinking. The way you feel affects your behaviour.

So if you think in terms of poverty or lack and if you give substance to those thoughts with fear based feelings like I don’t have, it’s not possible, not enough, can’t afford, that’s what you will reap.

If you think prosperity, and if you give substance to those thoughts with love based feelings feelings like gratitude, life can be easy, I support myself with ease then you will experience a different physical life experience . Wherever you are right now, it’s the result of the way you thought previously. What you think you will produce. What you conceive you will manifest.

Thinking involves a mixture of words, sentences, mental images and sensations. Every day you are thinking 60,000 thoughts per day. What are they? How have those thoughts created what you have? What percentage of them are intentional, purposely chosen thoughts and what percentage are on auto pilot? Does your thinking serve you?

Your Thoughts Are Powerful!

Are your thoughts occupied with worries, fears, anger or unhappiness most of the time, or with the inner chatter about negative situations and actions? The inner chatter of your thoughts and words that are repeated over and over again in your mind sink into the subconscious mind and affect your behaviour, actions and reactions.

The subconscious mind regards the internal conversation that’s going on within you as expressing and describing a real situation, and strives to bring about your self fulfilling prophecy, and makes it a reality in your life.

This means that if you often tell yourself that it is difficult or impossible to acquire money, that there’s no way you can have a relationship or have good health, the subconscious mind will accept your words and put obstacles in your way.

If you keep telling yourself that you are open to receive all of the goodness life has to offer, that money flows into your life with ease, it will find ways to bring you opportunities to do that, and push you towards taking advantage of them.

This is often done unconsciously, as few people pay attention to their thoughts and the words they use while thinking. Remember that the thoughts that you express through your words shape your life.

Here’s the solution to start the process: change your thoughts change your life. Positive thoughts generate positive feelings and attract positive life experiences.

What one thing will you do from now on so that your thoughts and words will help you build the life that you want? I invite you to share your thoughts.

Are you Feeling Grateful for things that you already have?

One of the things that we are starting to understand is the importance of emotions and how it affects our physical and mental well being. What we may not understand is that emotion has the capacity to carry information beyond this 4D experience, and to imprint our morphogenetic field which goes beyond the time space dimension.

So here’s how it works. The more intense the emotions are regardless if the emotion is one of joy or fear, those emotions carry the information out beyond this moment in time and imprints the field.

Think about any memorable incident that you’ve ever had. Which ones stick with you in your mind? Isn’t it the one that had the most emotion associated with it? That emotional spike functions not only in your limbic system, it goes out into the field as well.

So if someone has had a very emotional experience, the frequency is vibrating like a red hot burner in their field and it has all the information from that incident waiting to be expressed either through joy, or to be repeated again until it’s cleared up of that negative vibration.

A most important factor to understand is that gratitude is a key component of the blueprint for success. Gratitude is not a mental activity. It’s not about writing down what you are feeling grateful for each day (even though that may be a step in the right direction.)

What’s important is that you feel or experience gratitude. Imagine what would happen if you began to focus on what you wanted out of life, with an expectation to succeed, coupled with experiencing waves of gratitude and love. This is what causes something to materialize as if out of “thin air” which gratitude does by tapping into the raw fields of potential.

Dr. Masaru Emoto was a Japanese author and entrepreneur who performed a series of experiments observing the physical effect of words, prayers, music and environment on the crystalline structure of water. He exposed different energies such as love, hate, and gratitude to water.

Feeling Grateful

Courtesy of Emoto Peace Project

Notice the beautiful image of the love and gratitude that is above. Since our body is 70% water it means that what we think about creates our reality, not just emotionally but physically as well.

So anytime you are experiencing feelings of inadequacy, not good enough, unworthiness, resentment, grief, loss and so on, the fastest way of changing your state of being and changing the field is experiencing gratitude.

You may be saying to yourself you’ve got to be kidding. How can I feel gratitude when all I can experience is just the opposite. Here’s the thing, you start by not taking for granted the good that is already present in your life, the simple pleasures and things that you previously took for granted and feel gratitude for it all.

Feeling grateful is not just when you get something that you want, it’s where you notice the little things that take place in your life and where you constantly look for the good even in unpleasant situations.

So here’s what you can do, instead of waiting for a positive experience for feeling grateful, make experiencing gratitude a part of your life style.

I’d love to hear your comments.

Do You Live In A Positive State Of Expectation?

The dictionary says that a positive state of expectation is the act or the state of expecting, of looking forward, or a degree of probability that something will occur.

Positive State - Life's Good

Why is it important to live in a positive state of expectation?

It’s because living in a positive state of expectation has the capacity to condition your environment for success.

This is also true if you live in a negative state of expectation, because it can condition the field for failure. When we fail to recognize and utilize this important principle we are preventing the cogs in the wheel of success from moving forward in life.

So here are a few questions you may need to ask yourself:

  • Do I believe that the Universe is a friendly place to live in?
  • Do I trust that the Universe has my back covered, that I am never alone, and I’m always being guided in my highest good?
  • Do I come from the place that the Universe is working behind the scene in my favor to provide the right opportunities for me at just the right time?

If so, then having this positive attitude that you will succeed becomes easy.

One of the things why people fail to manifest what they want is that they don’t have this general expectation of receiving all the goodness that life has to offer them, or believe that life is good and that life can be easy.

I’m not talking about “how” it’s going to happen, or being attached to a particular outcome. It’s about trusting that everything that is happening is in perfect order.

Would a farmer plant a crop in the spring if he didn’t expect a harvest?

So expectation coupled with focusing your attention on what you want, can change your world. This means having a daily anticipation that opportunity is showing up for you, that you are worthy and capable of success and that you have the power to create what you want out of life.

So take an inventory of how you view life.

  • Are you showing up for yourself?
  • Do you believe you have all the support that you need, and that miracles are happening for you?

Here’s a hint. What is the default system that you revert to when things don’t turn out the way you expected them to go?

I would love to answer any questions you may have. Please leave your questions or share your comments in the comment section below.

Love and Blessings,

Brenda

p.s.  A great way on how to reduce anxiety is to live in a positive state of expectation that life’s good.

How to get what you want is a top of mind question that people usually think about and so did I for a long time.

Here is the first thing I started to be aware of what I was doing wrong.

I was focusing on the things that I didn’t want, didn’t have or couldn’t have instead of focusing on what it was that I truly wanted.

This is the default system I reverted to when things didn’t turn out the way I wanted them to go. I didn’t understand that the Universe operated by certain laws.

You’ve most likely heard of the saying “where your attention goes energy flows.” In other words whatever you focus on that’s what you are going to get.

Quantum physics has proven this by what is called the observer effect, where just looking at something changes everything.

We know that everything is energy, your dreams, visions and desires. So before they became reality they were at some point just a possibility.

The way to bring them into reality is by you deciding to consciously observe what you want. Another way of saying this is, the thing/s that you want is a wave.

A wave is energy or a possibility, and focusing on what you want, literally collapses the wave of what it is that you want into a particle.

How To Get What You Want

A particle is the start of something moving from wave energy or a possibility into form or matter.

The same is also true of focusing on what it is that you don’t want, don’t have, can’t do, it’s not fair, all those thoughts that make you feel like a victim…. you get the picture.

This is what is meant by you have the power to create your own reality, and that the starting point is that your observation or what you focus on has a direct affect on your world or your reality.

I’m not saying that when those thoughts and feelings arise that you shove them down, ignore them or vent. No, those feelings are your friends. They are indicators informing you that they need to be owned and acknowledged so that they can be dissipated.

If you get triggered you need to deal with that first, as that energy is running and will do so until it’s cleared. Use any clearing tool you know that will help you release the energy of what’s coming up for you.

After it has been cleared, then focus again on what it is that you want. This is step 1 on materializing what it is that you desire to have in your life. You can see how crucial this initial step is and why not implementing it, is the #1 obstacle to getting what you want to create.

So my question is have you been focusing consciously on how to get what you want?

Are you focusing on or giving your attention to the the things that you want, or on the things that you don’t want?

What happens when someone dies? I’m sure that at some time or another in your life you’ve probably asked yourself that question or wondered about what happens after death.

Life Force - What Happens When Somebody DiesOne of the most common fears is the fear of death, and my intention for writing this short article is so you would take a look at what your beliefs are about death. Here are some of my thoughts on the subject.

This body of ours holds the life force of who we are which keeps us alive. We know that energy can never be destroyed, it can only be changed or transmuted. This intangible substance that we call “essence” also known as chi, life force, spirit, and by other names, can never be destroyed, because it has no form and it’s invisible.

It’s this life force that inhabits and animates our bodies.

Often when we are alive we rarely give thought to the essence, the chi or the life force within us. When we die the life force or chi that was within us is what leaves our body or the form.

When we look at the body at death all we see is the form without the life force. This is what we call death, which makes sense since the life force which was keeping the body alive has left and is no longer sustaining it.

If we fear death I believe it’s because we fear that there’s nothing left after our physical body is destroyed, that we are dead forever and that’s the end, but is death really the end? This debate on after life has gone on for centuries and will probably continue to do so for a long time.

If you’ve had a challenge about this subject here are some related questions that you could ask yourself to do with death:

  • Who am I?
  • Why are we born?
  • What is the meaning of life?
  • What is the purpose of life?

Answering those questions will give you some insights on the overall picture to do with death and dying. Please share your comments in the comment box below.

Here’s an Inspirational Story

HANG ON TO EACH OTHER

Too often we feel alone. But there is always someone ready to take our hand.

This is a beautiful story of an overworked nurse who escorted a tired, young man to her patient’s bedside. Leaning over and speaking loudly to the elderly patient, she said, “Your son is here.” With great effort, his unfocussed eyes opened, then flickered shut again. The young man squeezed the aged hand in his and sat beside the bed. Throughout the night he sat there, holding the old man’s hand and whispering words of comfort.

By morning’s light, the patient had died. In moments, hospital staff swarmed into the room to turn off machines and remove needles. The nurse stepped over to the young man’s side and began to offer sympathy, but he interrupted her. “Who was that man?” he asked.

The startled nurse replied, “I thought he was your father!” “No, he was not my father,” he answered. “I never saw him before in my life.”

“Then, why didn’t you say something when I took you to him?”

“I realized he needed his son and his son wasn’t here,” the man explained. “And since he was too sick to recognize that I was not his son, I knew he needed me.”

Mother Teresa used to remind us that nobody should have to die alone. Likewise, nobody should have to grieve alone or cry alone either. Or laugh alone or celebrate alone.

We are made to travel life’s journey hand in hand. There is someone ready to grasp your hand today. And someone hoping you will take theirs.

Ho’oponopono is based on the premise that we take 100% responsibility for everything that shows up in our lives. You read it right, everything.

You are probably thinking to yourself, you mean I’m responsible for all the children that are starving in the world? and what about all the wars, the crimes and conflicts that occur on a daily basis. You could probably come up with hundreds of examples.

Here’s another question that usually comes up – If I’m 100% responsible for everything, does that mean I have to fix it?

Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len explains it this way, “Have you noticed that whenever there’s a problem, you are always there?” He goes on to say that we didn’t directly do anything to harm anyone, but we are perceiving things as problems through our opinions and judgments.

We look at other people and think it’s THEY who ought to change, when we’re the constant factor in our misperceptions.

In Ho’oponopono, being 100% responsible does not mean being 100% at fault or bad. Instead, it means that we simply have the ability to respond in every situation. And we can choose our response. One path leads to overwhelm: trying to fix everything on our own.

Another path is to allow Divinity to help. In Ho’oponopono, this path is called “cleaning.” By using Ho’oponopono cleaning tools, we acknowledge that data or memories are running us and showing up as problems in our lives.

The 4 Ho’oponopono Cleaning phrases

Ho'oponoponoWe can say any or all of these phrases “I’m sorry, please forgive me (for being unconscious), thank you (for the opportunity to let go of this data now) and I love you.”

Some people may think that just using these four phrases “I’m sorry, please forgive me, I thank you and I love you, is too simple and easy and that it couldn’t possibly work to change their outer reality.

On the contrary when we give permission by using the above process, Divinity can work behind the scenes to transmute the faulty data to pure light. We can choose in every moment to use these tools to clean up our lives, or not do so.

This is how we take responsibility. It’s our choice. Do we want to struggle or do we want to become aware that this “problem” is an opportunity “to let go?”

Some long term problems may simply dissolve through using this process, and in other cases we may not notice any tangible changes taking place for some time. However the shifts are happening at another level that we aren’t aware of and when that’s cleared things will fall into place.

Would you rather try and fix things on your own, or allow Divinity to help?

  • How did working on your own work out for you in the past?
  • What if the “problem” is not what we think it is at all?

So ask yourself “Am I ready to let go of those things that are not serving me and discover a way that I can do that”? Declare your intention to the Universe by commenting below and sharing your thoughts.

Here’s the audio that was played at the Possibilities DNA workshops when I was training to be an instructor to do release work. Allow it to reenforce the truth of you how awesome and amazing you are.

Ho'oponoponoThis is how I first learned about Ho’oponopono and I want to share the article that was written by Dr Joe Vitale about it with you.

When I was taking a training course from Possibilities DNA in 2005 my mentor Margaret Ruby gave all of us a handout that she had downloaded from the internet of an article about Hoʻoponopono and Dr Hew Len Ihaleakala by Dr Joe Vitale. It was entitled The World’s Most Unusual Therapist and it was written by Dr. Joe Vitale.

Dr. Joe Vitale’s Hoʻoponopono Article
Two years ago, I heard about a therapist in Hawaii who cured a complete ward of criminally insane patients–without ever seeing any of them. The psychologist would study an inmate’s chart and then look within himself to see how he created that person’s illness. As he improved himself, the patient improved.

When I first heard this story, I thought it was an urban legend. How could anyone heal anyone else by healing himself? How could even the best self-improvement master cure the criminally insane?

It didn’t make any sense. It wasn’t logical, so I dismissed the story.

However, I heard it again a year later. I heard that the therapist had used a Hawaiian healing process called ho’oponopono. I had never heard of it, yet I couldn’t let it leave my mind. If the story was at all true, I had to know more.

I had always understood “total responsibility” to mean that I am responsible for what I think and do. Beyond that, it’s out of my hands. I think that most people think of total responsibility that way. We’re responsible for what we do, not what anyone else does. The Hawaiian therapist who healed those mentally ill people would teach me an advanced new perspective about total responsibility.

His name is Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len. We probably spent an hour talking on our first phone call. I asked him to tell me the complete story of his work as a therapist. He explained that he worked at Hawaii State Hospital for four years.

That ward where they kept the criminally insane was dangerous. Psychologists quit on a monthly basis. The staff called in sick a lot or simply quit. People would walk through that ward with their backs against the wall, afraid of being attacked by patients. It was not a pleasant place to live, work, or visit.

Dr. Len told me that he never saw patients. He agreed to have an office and to review their files. While he looked at those files, he would work on himself. As he worked on himself, patients began to heal.

“After a few months, patients that had to be shackled were being allowed to walk freely,’ he told me. ‘Others who had to be heavily medicated were getting off their medications. And those who had no chance of ever being released were being freed.”

I was in awe.

“Not only that,” he went on, “but the staff began to enjoy coming to work. Absenteeism and turnover disappeared. We ended up with more staff than we needed because patients were being released, and all the staff was showing up to work. Today, that ward is closed.”

This is where I had to ask the million dollar question: “What were you doing within yourself that caused those people to change?”

“I was simply healing the part of me that created them,” he said.

I didn’t understand.

Dr. Len explained that total responsibility for your life means that everything in your life – simply because it is in your life–is your responsibility. In a literal sense the entire world is your creation.

Whew. This is tough to swallow. Being responsible for what I say or do is one thing. Being responsible for what everyone in my life says or does is quite another. Yet, the truth is this: if you take complete responsibility for your life, then everything you see, hear, taste, touch, or in any way experience is your responsibility because it is in your life.

This means that terrorist activity, the president, the economy–anything you experience and don’t like–is up for you to heal. They don’t exist, in a manner of speaking, except as projections from inside you. The problem isn’t with them, it’s with you, and to change them, you have to change you.

I know this is tough to grasp, let alone accept or actually live. Blame is far easier than total responsibility, but as I spoke with Dr. Len, I began to realize that healing for him and in Ho’oponopono means loving yourself. If you want to improve your life, you have to heal your life. If you want to cure anyone–even a mentally ill criminal–you do it by healing you.

I asked Dr. Len how he went about healing himself. What was he doing, exactly, when he looked at those patients’ files?

“I just kept saying, ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I love you’ over and over again,” he explained.

That’s it?
That’s it.

Turns out that loving yourself is the greatest way to improve yourself, and as you improve yourself, your improve your world. Let me give you a quick example of how this works: one day, someone sent me an email that upset me. In the past I would have handled it by working on my emotional hot buttons or by trying to reason with the person who sent the nasty message.

This time, I decided to try Dr. Len’s method. I kept silently saying, “I’m sorry” and “I love you,” I didn’t say it to anyone in particular. I was simply evoking the spirit of love to heal within me what was creating the outer circumstance.

Within an hour I got an e-mail from the same person. He apologized for his previous message. Keep in mind that I didn’t take any outward action to get that apology. I didn’t even write him back. Yet, by saying “I love you,” I somehow healed within me what was creating him.

Although I’ve studied several healing modalities and everyone of them is great, I use Ho’oponopono because it’s so simple and easy to use, that even a young child can use it.

What were the thoughts and feelings that came up as you read this story about Ho’oponopono?

  • Were you skeptical?
  • Were you excited and elated?
  • Did you wonder if you could have the same results in your life if you learned about Ho’oponopono and used it to change your life?

Please share your thoughts in the comment section below.

What Do You Do When Opportunities Are Presented To You?

What do you do when something’s being presented to you? Are you wondering what that means? The Universe is always presenting opportunities to us every day, but more often than not we don’t recognize them and they pass us by.

So to prevent that opportunity from slipping away, instead of dismissing what’s being presented to you, take a look at it, and check it out. When an opportunity is presented to you what usually happens is that some kind of inner conflict or dialogue occurs.

Maybe you have a thought that says it’s too much work, or you don’t have the time, it’s too expensive, you don’t have the expertise or some other reason comes up. If you listen to those voices you may have just lost an opportunity that could have opened up doors to your success.

It doesn’t mean that everything that is presented to you will work out for you. But how will you know unless you check it out? Checking it out allows you to say yes to saying no.

For a long time I would dismiss what was being presented to me, and when I stopped doing that, the opportunities that have come my way have been priceless. Let me give you a couple of examples.

A few months ago I was approached by Voice America, Live Internet Talk Radio, to host a one hour 13 week show. I can honestly tell you that I didn’t have any desire to do the show when I was asked about it.

As I looked at what was being presented to me I realized that it would afford me a greater online presence, I could repurpose the shows, increase my data base and visitors to my website. So I said yes. Was it easy? Not by a long shot. It brought up all kinds of ‘stuff” up for me, which of course I had to keep clearing on. I ended doing things that I never realized I was capable of doing. All great for my growth!

A month ago I was presented with another opportunity…

I was invited to take part in Your Divine Biz Gifts Giveaway, and I went through the same process of not wanting to do it. Guess what though? All that I learned as a host for the radio show I have put to great use in this next opportunity.

  • How many times have you downloaded a free eBook or audio meditation, and it has shifted your perspective on something?
  • How many times have you signed up for a gift from someone and it transformed your life?

A small gift can make a HUGE difference. That’s what’s going to be presented to you shortly from me and from hundreds of other spiritual entrepreneurs and you get to choose which gifts you want.

The doors are open to Your Divine Biz Gifts Giveaway on July 7th. Keep tuned for more info coming your way on this.
